Oddr Cloud Maintenance Policy

The following information regarding Oddr’s maintenance policy is provided for planning purposes and is subject to change at Oddr’s discretion. Customers will be notified in advance of any material changes to this policy.

Oddr delivers two types of updates to the Oddr Secure Cloud

Oddr delivers two types of updates to the Oddr Secure Cloud:

Releases

Periodic deployments introducing new features or significant changes; these are previewed in Sandbox before Production.

Maintenance Updates

Smaller deployments (bug fixes, security patches) to sustain platform health. These may be applied without notification if there is no user impact.

Release Cadence

Oddr follows a monthly Sandbox-first approach:

Phase
Timing
Details
1. Sandbox Release
Last Saturday of each month
New features and changes are deployed to the Sandbox
2. Production Notification
Same day as Sandbox release
Customers are notified that the release is available in Sandbox and that Production deployment is planned for approximately two weeks later.
3. Production Release
Approximately two weeks after Sandbox, on a Saturday
After the Sandbox preview period, the release is promoted to the Production environment.

Notification Timelines

Update Type
Production Notification
Sandbox Preview
Scheduled Release
At least two weeks before Production deployment
Available on or around the last Saturday of the month, approximately two weeks before Production
Maintenance Update
At least 72 hours before, when user-impacting
Not applicable for minor maintenance
Emergency / Security Patch
As soon as practical; at least 8 hours advance notice when possible
Not applicable

Standard Maintenance Windows

Oddr schedules maintenance during windows chosen to minimize disruption to law firm operations. All times are listed in Pacific Time (PT).
Sandbox

Approximately around the last Saturday of each month, 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM PT.

Production

Saturday (approx. two weeks after Sandbox), 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM PT.

Maintenance in Production is performed on Saturdays to avoid business-hours impact for law firm users. Oddr may conduct maintenance outside of the standard window if necessary; if that maintenance is user-impacting, Oddr will aim to provide at least 8 hours of advance notice.

Change Moratorium

Oddr may observe change moratorium periods during which no scheduled releases or non-critical maintenance are deployed to Production. These moratoriums are designed to protect platform stability during peak operational periods for law firms.
Year-End Moratorium

The last two weeks of December and the first week of January. This protects firms during year-end billing, collections close, and financial reporting activities.

Month-End Consideration

Oddr avoids scheduling Production releases during the last two business days and first business day of each month where feasible, recognizing that month-end billing cycles are critical for law firm operations.

Emergency security patches and critical fixes are exempt from moratorium restrictions but will be communicated with as much advance notice as possible.
